Service

Service is a core value of Living Stones Covenant Church.  We believe that our faith is expressed by our actions.  Take a look at some of the different Service Opportunities.

Service Worship: Have you ever attended a “Worship Service,” and wondered, “Where is the service in the worship?” Well, Living Stones wants to put the service in the worship.  When we serve together we honor God.  Occasionally we take a break from the regular routine to make a service project the main thing on Sunday.  For example, this January Living Stones gathered on Sunday morning to pack books for a school in Liberia.  We see this as an essential part of worship, not an extra thing.

Service Opportunities:  Living Stones is active in its community.  People have the opportunity to serve the community in a variety of ways.  So far, we’ve served at Marie Sandvick Center, the South High Community Carnival, and the South High Pancake Breakfast.

Neighbors in need: We are always ready to help our neighbors in need.  When a friend of the church is going through a tough time with an illness or other hardship, Living Stones people have gathered around them for prayer, groceries, and lending a hand.
