Mission • Vision • Values
We believe the Lord’s hand is with us and that He’s guiding every step of ministry here at Living Stones. Below are our foundational elements, all built upon the Cornerstone of Jesus Christ and the authoritative Word of God. All developed and future ministries will arise out of these core values, mission and vision. Living Stones is a church plant of the Evangelical Covenant Church of America (check out the Covenant Church denominational website: http://www.covchurch.org).
Mission: “A Church of all nations revering God, reaching out to others, and receiving divine love”
Vision: In Acts 11:21 we see the first multi-ethnic church in the New Testament at Antioch, “The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.”
Values:
1) Committed To God - A simple version of our core values is “God first, others second, I’m third”
Everything is grounded in the Word of God, centered in the Worship of God, and given specific direction through the primary commitment of prayer at Living Stones.

2) Community of One - A multi-racial family where Christ is in all
Arising out of our core verse, we believe that Christ calls us to community and specifically to a community of all nations.

3) Consumed by Grace - Love covers sin/Love empowers victory
This amazing grace not only saves us and covers all our sin, but it empowers us to live a victorious life in the body of Christ.

4) Commissioned to Serve - Evangelism/Mission/Justice/Children
Jesus made it clear that our worship of God must be accompanied with a commitment to love our neighbor as ourselves. At Living Stones we are passionate about sharing the love of God in radical and holistic ways.
