Feast on This

December 15th, 2009

Unlike some of the earliest Living Stones potluck meals when we didn’t always have enough food to feed those at the back of the line, this one exceeded our common expectations.  Wow, that was a lasagna feast and then some.  Thanks to everyone who made this community  meal after our Sunday service possible - it was great!  Speaking of a feast, thanks also to our own Scott Harman who gave us something to feast on with his sermon, “Expectation.”  It was a heartfelt word and blew the bah-humbug dust off our Christmas experience. Thanks, Scott, for allowing God to show up and give us a greater hunger and expectation of Him this Christmas.  Thanks to everyone at Living Stones who makes it a joy and feast to gather and enjoy God’s presence in our midst.

Thanks to Scott for his sermon on Sunday. We appreciated his
authenticity, passion, and just keeping it real.

Sadly, my wife Kia lost a friend last week to
cancer and she has been struggling to find the Christmas spirit.
Scott’s words were timely and a blessing to our family. Amen.
